Anatomical causes

Dysfunction of the fallopian tubes

Obstructed or malformed fallopian tubes, which can be the consequence of an inflammation of the ovaries, often inhibit fertilisation. At the KinderWunschKilnik we offer all the modern procedures for fallopian tube diagnostics. Classic abdominal laparoscopies are carried out by Dr Leonhard Loimer in the Diakonissen Hospital in Linz.

Modified anatomy
Scars or polyps in the uterus can occasionally affect conception.

Myomas
Benign myomas in the uterus can prevent the embryo from embedding. However, most myo-lumps do not have any negative effect on conception.

Blocked fallopian tubes
